Hydrosols are potent skin beneficial distillates and form the basis of all Facewater products. The reality is, that for truly effective results and healthy, clear, glowing skin – other ingredients such as vitamin C, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, etc… are needed. Facewater products contain only plant based ingredients and are formulated by world class skincare experts. Facewater products are “way beyond clean” and extensively tested. The combination of the elimination harmful/petroleum derived ingredients with the enhanced power of hydrosols delivers results that we hope you will agree are “wonderful.”

all Facewater products are formulated to be non-drying and skin healthy. we use sugarcane-derived alcohol in some of our products at carefully measured and tested levels. humectants and other moisturizing ingredients prevent over-drying.

depending on skin type, alcohol can be beneficial for sebum control or deep cleaning – while for other skin types, too much alcohol can be drying. this also depends on the frequency of use and the other products in a particular routine. for consumers concerned about alcohol, we have a collection of highly effective and alcohol-free toners: toner-ish.

there are Facewater formulas for all skin types and preferences and most consumers learn over time if alcohol is something they want to use in moderation, embrace or avoid.
